Q2: Are Plus series radiators compatible with my existing Touch E3 wireless controller?

No, Plus series radiators cannot connect to the Touch E3. We have some older LVI stock available if needed. Alternatively, you can upgrade your existing units to the Plus controller and swap your Touch E3 for the new Zigbee 3.0 Gateway.

Q3: Why has the brand changed from LVI to Purmo?

Purmo, one of Europe's largest manufacturers of heating systems, has owned the LVI brand for many years. With the new product rollout, Purmo is simplifying its branding, and we're taking this opportunity to simplify our name to Thermosoft Australia. Rest assured, the quality of the products remains the same.

Q4: Will I be able to connect electric towel rails to the Zigbee Gateway?

Our current towel rails are not compatible with the Zigbee Gateway. Purmo plans to roll out updates to the controller designs in 2023, so expect a new towel rail range by the end of the year.

Q5: Will I still be able to use the Clevertouch app to control my Touch E3 and existing LVI radiators?

Yes, Purmo will maintain the Clevertouch app for years to come. However, the new Purmo Plus series radiators will not be compatible with Touch E3 or the Clevertouch app.

Q6: Will you still provide support for older LVI model units?

Yes, we will continue to provide support, repairs, and spare parts for existing LVI units, and Purmo has ensured a long-term supply of spare parts.

Currently, the only way to control the Plus series radiators is with the smartphone app via the Gateway. Purmo is investigating the possibility of providing a wall-mounted control display as part of the Zigbee rollout, based on customer feedback.

Q8: Can I still buy older model radiators if I need any more?

We currently have older model LVI radiators available. However, once our stock runs out, we won't be able to import them anymore. In case we run out of the specific model you need, we can change the control panel on our Plus units to the older version that will work with your Touch E3, though this option will be slightly more expensive than buying the existing stock.
